Building Young Anglers. Growing Future Champions.
At Keller Youth Bass Team, our mission is to inspire the next generation of anglers by building passion, confidence, and character both on and off the water. We provide a positive, competitive environment where young fishermen and women can develop advanced fishing skills, learn the value of teamwork and sportsmanship, and grow into leaders within their community. Through mentorship, education, and real tournament experience, we are committed to creating lifelong anglers and responsible stewards of the outdoors.
At Keller Youth Bass Team, we are committed to giving young anglers a clear, structured path to grow, compete, and succeed in the sport of bass fishing. Our program proudly prepares student anglers to compete in sanctioned events while developing the skills, discipline, and sportsmanship that last a lifetime.
Our anglers progress through a proven competitive pathway that builds confidence and experience at every level:
Local Club Development
Anglers begin by learning foundational fishing techniques, tournament preparation, boat safety, and teamwork within the Keller Youth Bass Team environment.
Regional & State Competition
As skills grow, anglers compete in events through Texas Bass Nation Youth (TBNY), one of the premier youth bass fishing circuits in the country. These tournaments provide high-quality competition and exposure to advanced tournament conditions.
National Championship Opportunities
Top-performing anglers have the opportunity to advance through the TBNY system toward national-level competition, representing Texas on some of the biggest stages in youth bass fishing.
Participation in the TBNY competitive structure provides our anglers with:
Most importantly, it ensures our anglers are competing within a respected, nationally recognized framework while still benefiting from the close-knit, development-focused culture of Keller Youth Bass Team.
While competition is an important part of what we do, our primary focus remains developing confident, responsible young anglers who love the sport. Whether a student is brand new to fishing or already tournament-experienced, our pathway provides the structure and support to help them reach their goals.

Keller Youth Bass Team proudly competes in the Northwest Region of Texas Bass Nation Youth (TBNY), providing our anglers the opportunity to fish some of the premier bass fisheries in North Texas. The Northwest schedule features outstanding lakes that challenge our anglers while helping them develop real tournament experience in a structured, competitive environment. We are excited about the opportunities this season brings and look forward to representing Keller on these great fisheries. Below is the current Northwest Region schedule.

The Keller Youth Bass Team is building something special in our community — a structured pathway that takes young anglers from their first tournament all the way to high school and college competition.
But we can't do it alone.

DownloadVolunteer Boat Captains Needed — Keller Youth Bass Team
There are kids in the Keller area who want to compete in tournament bass fishing. They've got the passion. They're putting in the work. Some are already studying techniques, seasonal patterns, and knots two nights a week.
The only thing standing between them and the water is a boat.
That's where you come in.
You might be exactly who we need if you:
No teaching certification required. No coaching experience needed. Just a love of fishing and a willingness to share it.
One day on the water with the right mentor can change the trajectory of a young angler's life. Several of our current competitors are on a pathway to fish high school and college tournaments — because someone believed in them enough to give them a seat in the boat.
Be that person.
Fill out the form below or contact us directly at Admin@kelleryouthbassteam.com and we'll reach out to discuss the next steps.
